Gather your things
Step 2
Remove the backing from your barrier.
Step 3
Insert “be free” pod through barrier opening into the pouch.
Step 4
Press the tail of pod onto the
adhesive barrier until secured.

The “be free” Odor Eliminator System
Step 1
Gather your supplies as you normally do prior to changing your pouch.
Step 2
Remove the backing from your barrier.
Step 3
Insert “be free” pod through barrier opening into the pouch.
Step 4
Press the tail of pod onto the
adhesive barrier until secured.

Step 5
Apply your paste… OR
Step 6
Apply barrier ring as you normally do directly over the pod’s plastic tail to secure it in place.
Step 7
Apply your pouch (with pod inside) over your stoma site.
Step 8
Squirt “be free” odor eliminator into the pouch.
Step 9
Lift pouch tail so liquid deodorant can reach the “be free” pod. Squeeze the pod to absorb the liquid. Some liquid will be left in the pouch.
Step 10
Close tail of pouch.

Repeat deodorant application two times a day or as needed. Change your pouch twice a week or as you normally do.
